When the RIP is imposing pages with the /Imposition page device key, there is no erasepage between ‘logical’ pages on the same physical page. If this parameter is true, it forces the RIP to erase the clip path for each logical page before painting that page.
The default is false (there is a time cost incurred by the extra erasures). It might need to be set to true if, for example, negative and positive pages were being imposed on the same physical page.
