This page applies to Harlequin v13.1r0 and later; both Harlequin Core and Harlequin MultiRIP.
This section describes the available spot functions with their PostScript-language names, and their index number and comments on PDF usage where appropriate.
A PDF: entry shows where the spot function has a different name or availability to that in the PostScript language. These examples show the possible entries:
shows that a PDF job specifying |
shows that a PDF job cannot access the labeled spot function. |
Indicates that this is a spot function provided in addition to those defined in [PDF1.2]. |
Names marked as Not available have a related name ending in Adobe. These are provided where there is a Harlequin spot function with the same name as, but a different appearance from, the spot function as used from PDF jobs. This is done so that PDF spot functions have their correct representation.
An Index: entry shows the (deprecated) index value for the screen, for use with the OverrideSpotFunction system parameter. "Index: 5" shows that you can access the spot function using index 5.
