Override color management in PDF

When enabled, the selected input ICC profiles override profiles found in the document. When disabled, the input ICC profiles are used only where the document does not already provide profiles.

Preserve 100% black

When enabled, the black‐only part of your input is no longer converted to a CMYK‐equivalent color. This option is particularly relevant for black text because it avoids colored fringes.

Keep text black

When enabled, black text objects remain process black. When Preserve 100% black is enabled, this setting is enabled automatically.

Color manage gray as CMYK

When enabled, monochrome (gray) data uses the selected CMYK input profile and is color managed as CMYK. When this option is selected, the Gray ICC profile setting becomes unavailable.

Optimize fine paths, strokes and outline text

Turns on precise rendering in the RIP. This can produce finer and lighter output, but may affect performance.

Main Intent

The default rendering intent used when the job does not supply one.

CMYK Images

This option overrides the rendering intent in the job for CMYK images.

RGB Images

This option overrides the rendering intent in the job for RGB images.

RGB input profile

Sets the input profile for RGB color spaces in the job unless the job already provides one. This profile converts RGB data into the connection space.

CMYK input profile

Sets the input profile for CMYK color spaces in the job unless the job already provides one. This profile converts CMYK data into the connection space.

Gray input profile

Sets the input profile for gray color spaces in the job unless the job already provides one. This profile converts gray data into the connection space.

Printer ICC profile

The device or output ICC profile. It converts from the connection space to the device color space, such as CMYK or CMYKOGV.

Emulate another printer

Enables a device link profile that can be used to emulate another device.

Device Emulation Profile

Specifies the device link used to emulate the other device.

RGB device link

This is general device link support. A chain of profiles can be built into a single device link that connects the input profile (RGB) to the output profile.

CMYK device link

This is general device link support. A chain of profiles can be built into a single device link that connects the input profile (CMYK) to the output profile.

Gray device link

This is general device link support. A chain of profiles can be built into a single device link that connects the input profile (Gray) to the output profile.
