Overview
The Style Customizer tab defines branding and visual style settings for Smart DFE applications.
Use this tab to customize company details, product names, application icons, logos, splash screen images, theme colors, and light or dark theme settings.
Company Details
Company Name
Use Company Name to set the company name shown in the branded applications.
This field is required.
Copyright
Use Copyright to set the copyright text shown in the branded applications.
This field is required.
Branding Images
About Page Logo
Use Import About Page Logo to select the logo displayed on the application About page.
The image must be a .png or .bmp file with dimensions of 550 x 204 pixels.
You can also drag and drop a valid image file onto the About Page Logo preview area.
Splash Screen
Use Import Splash Screen to select the image displayed on the application splash screen.
The image must be a .png or .bmp file with dimensions of 550 x 204 pixels.
You can also drag and drop a valid image file onto the Splash Screen preview area.
Application Branding
The Style Customizer allows separate product names and application icons to be set for the following Smart DFE applications:

Smart Print Controller
-
Label Studio
-
Smart Job Cost Estimator
-
Smart Media Manager
For each application, enter the product name to display and use Import Icon to select the application icon.
Application icons must be .ico files.
You can also drag and drop a valid .ico file onto the icon preview area for the relevant application.
Primary Color
Use Primary Color to set the main accent color used by the branded application theme.
The color can be selected with the color picker or entered as a color value, for example:
#00675B
The primary color is used for key interface elements such as buttons and highlights. Smart Device Configurator also calculates a suitable contrast color for text shown against the primary color.
Theme
Use the theme buttons to apply a base theme:

Light

Dark
The selected theme updates the related background, text, hover, selection, and surface colors used by the branded applications.
Import Style
Use Import Style... to load an existing .style file.
Importing a style replaces the current Style Customizer values with the values from the selected file.
A .style file can also be dragged and dropped onto the Style Customizer tab.
Export Style
Use Export Style... to save the current branding and theme settings to a .style file.
The exported style file can be reused or imported later.
Preview
Use Preview to open a preview window showing the current theme colors and sample interface elements.
The preview includes color swatches, buttons, input fields, and list selection states.
Deploy
Use Deploy to write the current style to the Smart Print Controller style deployment folder.
After deployment, restart or launch Smart Print Controller for the style changes to take effect.
Restore Defaults
Use Restore Defaults to reload the default style supplied with Smart Device Configurator.
