Overview
The Autotune tab shows the Autotune model used by the device configuration.
An Autotune model is a .json file containing the data required by the Autotune Model Trainer to estimate how quickly a job can be ripped.
Every .sdc file must include an Autotune model. If no custom model is imported, Smart Device Configurator uses the default model supplied with the application.
Model File
The name of the active Autotune model file is shown above the server hardware table.
When a new configuration is created, Smart Device Configurator uses the default Autotune model supplied with the application.
When an existing .sdc file is opened, Smart Device Configurator loads the Autotune model embedded in that file.
If the .sdc file does not contain an Autotune model, the default model is used.
Server Hardware
The Server Hardware table shows hardware information from the active Autotune model.
The displayed values are:

CPU
-
Cores
-
RAM
Autotune estimations are based on this hardware information.
If the model file is valid but does not contain server hardware information, these fields are shown as Unknown.
Import Model
Use Import Model... to select a different Autotune model.
The selected file must be a valid Autotune model .json file.
After a model is imported, Smart Device Configurator updates the model filename and server hardware values shown on the tab.
If the selected file is not valid, Smart Device Configurator displays an error and keeps the current model.
Saving
When the device configuration is saved as an .sdc file, the active Autotune model is included in the saved configuration.
When that .sdc file is opened again, the embedded Autotune model is loaded automatically.
