Overview
The RIP Support Files tab manages optional RIP Server plugin files.
This tab is only needed when a device configuration must include additional RIP Server files, such as a custom output device plugin. If the configuration does not require custom plugins, this tab can be left empty.
Files added to Embedded Plugins are saved inside the Smart Device Configuration. When Smart Print Controller applies the configuration, those files are deployed to the RIP Server.
Available Plugins
The Available Plugins area lists plugin files that are available to include in the configuration.
Use + to add plugin files to the available list.
Use - to remove selected plugin files from the available list.
Adding a file to Available Plugins does not include it in the active configuration. To include a plugin, drag it into Embedded Plugins.
Embedded Plugins
The Embedded Plugins area lists the plugin files included in the active configuration.
Only files in this area are saved into the Smart Device Configuration and deployed by Smart Print Controller.
Use - to remove selected files from the active configuration.
