Mako 7.3.9 Release Notes

Introduction

This is a maintenance release from the 7.3.x branch of Mako. It includes a customer-focused fix for vertical text rendering with End-User Defined Characters (EUDC) in Japanese fonts.

Improvements in this release

MAKO-5890 — EUDC is not rendered correctly when the orientation is vertical

Corrected an issue where End-User Defined Characters (外字) remained horizontal when a vertical font was requested. The fix addresses vertical text rendering in the same customer environment associated with the related orientation issue.
