In a PostScript configuration, the contour export functionality is initialized by supplying a configuration dictionary to the InitContour procedure within the HqnContour procset:
<< … configuration … >> /HqnContour /ProcSet findresource /InitContour get exec
In a JSON configuration (HHR only) the configuration object is supplied as the value of Contour in the Control object in the root of the JSON.
