Writable SW folder for farm RIPs

This page applies to Harlequin v13.1r0 and later; and to Harlequin Core but not Harlequin MultiRIP

All RIPs will use the main SW folder, but all farm RIPs are launched to use a union file system over the main SW folder. Each farm RIP's writable part of their union SW folder is held within a sub-directory relative to the current working directory from where the HHR executable was launched. For example:

                        C:\hqnrip\> bin\clrip.exe ..... -frid 001 (and so on).
                        C:\hqnrip\SWfr-001 C:\hqnrip\SWfr-002 C:\hqnrip\SWfr-003

Farm RIP union SW folders are named:

• SW (ScriptWorks, the historical name of the Harlequin RIP)

• fr(farm RIP)

• Id
