Both of the options under the File menu are only available in Standalone Mode.
File -> Load device...
Loads an SDC file and configures Smart Job Cost Estimator to estimate using that device's settings.
File -> Set costs...
Opens the cost settings used by estimates.
Cost unit - Sets the currency or cost unit displayed next to ink and job costs. Any string up to three characters is accepted.
This value is for display only. Smart Job Cost Estimator does not perform currency conversion.
Service cost and Service interval - For every service interval, the specified service cost is added to the total job cost.
Media cost per m2 - Sets the substrate cost per square metre.
The panel on the right sets the cost and drop volumes for each ink.
Select the ink to edit from the drop-down menu at the top.
The button in the top right copies the current ink cost settings to all other inks.
Help -> View log...
Displays the log file for Smart Job Cost Estimator in a text editor.

Displays the current version information and copyright of Smart Job Cost Estimator.
