PluginLib_ip_buffer_size Function

    int32 PluginLib_ip_buffer_size (
      PLUGIN_BUFFER * dataInOrOutBuffer,
      int32 * size
      );

This is the only function which can operate on either the dataInBuffer or the dataOutBuffer . It assigns to *size the total size of the buffer available for either input or output.

In filter plugins (see ), the size of the dataOutBuffer is the maximum amount of data the RIP can pass to the plugin for filtering before it has to wait for the plugin to consume some of it.
